Headteacher Welcome
I am delighted to welcome you and your family to Westvale Park Primary Academy School. Our entire team is looking forward to ensuring your child reaches their full potential and thrives during their time here, in close partnership with you at all times. I'm proud to be Headteacher at Westvale Park Primary Academy, which caters for children aged 2-11, including a fully integrated nursery.
Having welcomed our first pupils in recent years, this is an incredibly exciting period to be joining our school. Your child and family will be central to forming the educational culture and ethos of our entire school community. We are, at present, a school with a nursery, reception,Year 1, Year 2 and Year 3 classes. We are highly oversubscribed. When full we will include up to Year 6. Pupils at Westvale Park benefit from the wealth of experience within the already highly successful Aurora Academy Trust, in addition to the opportunities that a brand new, state-of-the-art school affords the wider curriculum.
At Westvale Park Primary Academy we care deeply about all of our children. This can be seen in all the little things we value – a big smiley welcome from all staff when your child enters school or nursery each day, a hug when they’re not feeling themselves, or simply taking the time to listen properly when a child tells us about their interests and curiosities. We see Westvale Park Primary Academy as a family, a loving community where children are known as individuals - not numbers or statistics - who matter.
We firmly believe in aspiring to be better, displaying excellence in everything we do. We won’t settle or be satisfied with mediocre or the ‘status quo’; we are a fresh educational setting, constantly evolving and looking to improve. We aim to create a rich culture and positive ethos that staff and children can thrive in, and parents believe in. Our overarching goal is to offer a holistic, transformative education, where children perform exceptionally well for their age, in addition to exposure of a wide range of extra-curricular and alternative learning experiences.
We hope that you enjoy your visit to our website. Please do not hesitate to contact us to arrange a visit so that you can see for yourself why we are so proud of our wonderful school.
